Last week I was at the mall deciding if I should conform to the norm and buy a Canada Goose coat. After a lot of consideration I decided against it. Here is why. Why look like every other girl on the street? Why wear this big puffy coat that makes me look like the michelin man? I decided to go for the sleak more fashionable wool coat. It has been super warm and has this huge hood on it.
After talking to a couple of friends as well as an employee at a store that sells Canada Goose I came to the realization that even the lighest, smallest, least puffy coat is too warm for the city. They are meant for the artic and in my opinion should only be worn in the Artic.
The Chilliwack:
The Chilliwack is meant for +5- -10. You may wonder why I am saying this is too warm for the city. Reason being is that the down helps keep the body heat inside so you feel like its 15 degrees inside. That is way to much when you are wearing sweaters as well as a proper base layer.
For now no Canada Goose Coat for me. Maybe next year.
Bye for now,
